What a great start into the final month of the year for Linda & Tango who finished his RAE at the Catoctin KC trials. He earned RAE legs #8,9,10,11 with a first, a second, a fourth, two thirds, and two High Combined wins. Four trials in two days was exhausting, but he was a trooper!
Ellen was showing Lissen in her first obedience trial and got a 196 in Beginners Novice. Then won a run-off against 2 other dogs for 4th place.
Karin and Mo finished their Beginners Novice title with a score of 194 at the last trial.
Gayle and Score placed 6th out of 58 at the Obedience Classic in Orlando (FL).
Panny and her Shaman earned her Novice Agility title at REVA.
Max UDX - congratulations Jan!! With a HIT/HC on Sunday.
Neon earned a QQ in agility with Penny.
Violet and Renee got their CDX in Salisbury. Violet's daughter, Ziva, debut in all-breed and got 3pts toward her champion title.
At the Medallion Rottweiler Club Specialty Violet and Renee went High In Trial with a 198 from Novice B. On Friday, they had a 198.5, and missed HIT by .5pt. Violet is back from maternity and showing like a rock star - onto Open. Ziva (Violet's daughter) made her debut in the show ring. She definitely was the baby compared to the girls in her class; she held her stand and allowed the judge to go over, which made Renee really proud of her baby and her first showing.
Gayle's NH NOC qualifier results:
Day 1 - Bill is in 4th overall, Zazu won veterans with 199.5 and Score earned a 1st with 198 in Random Rewards Novice.
Day 2 - Bill QQ'd and is still in 4th. Zazu again 1st in veterans with 198.5 and Score another great 199 as 2nd.
Day 3 ended with Bill in 2nd overall, Zazu as Highest Scoring Verteran over 3 days (Sunday was a 198) at 13 years of age and Score who showed in Nov B this time, won once more.
At the beginning of August, Linda and Pippa earned their UD at the BRDTC trial and has since been picking up Obedience Master points in August and September. In September as well, Ember passed her NAVHDA Natural Ability Test with a Prize 2.
Bill won utility at Lynchburg in September, Score was 1st and 2nd in novice and Zazu won veterans both days at 13 years young!
Gayle and Score finished their CD. Now they'll be going to Florida to compete at the Classic in novice in December!
6 month old Ember earned her Novice Retrieving Dog certificate at the GSPCFL water test in NY with Linda.
Jan & Max finished their OTCH with a pretty Utility Class win with a score of 197. Proud of your accomplishments!
It was a good weekend for Laura & Bubbles too, by finishing their UD!
Linda is working on catching up to that and can report a 2nd UD leg for Pippa, as well as Tango getting his RE. He followed that title with 2 legs towards the RAE going Rally HIT at both the supported and GSPCA NSS rally trials with scores of 99 & 100 in each trial. He is currently at 5 RAE legs.
Penny's Calder picked up his first junior hunter leg.
Bill pleased his mom at the Bluegrass Sheepdog Herding Trials. In uncomfortable weather conditions (rain & cold), Gayle directed him in pro novice to a score of 76 out of 90, with getting the pen. This led to an 8th place out of 61 runs on day 1. 9th out of 59 the next day with the best fetch and drive he has done so far, resulted in an overall 8th.
Neon made his mom Penny proud by earning his ACK breed champion with a 4 point major out of the Open group!
Bill & Gayle keep up the fabulous work! They had a great day at the Winston Salem dog show.
Won a 21 dog utility class with an 8 and got his Versatility title with a 9 1/2. HIT too.
Vasca & Ella earned their RA this past weekend and Rufus his RE.
The NOC were a success for Gayle & Bill and resulted in a great 4th place!!
First was Bridget Carlsen, Second was Julie Hill (we had her for a seminar and she placed second with a dog who has won the National Agility Championship two years ago), and Third was Evelyn Boyd with a Labrador.
